Bubble shooters descend from Puzzle Bobble, the 1994 arcade cabinet that took the aiming from a light-gun game and pointed it at a wall of coloured bubbles. What makes the format last is the second rule, the one people forget when describing it: popping a group also drops everything that was hanging from it. That turns a simple matching game into one about structure - the good players are not aiming at the biggest cluster, they are aiming at whichever bubble is holding up the most weight. The wall bounce does the same job in reverse, opening up shots that look impossible. Three colours is genuinely gentle and fine for a young child; six is properly hard.

How do I bank a shot off the wall?＋
Aim at the side wall rather than at the bubbles. The dotted line shows the bounce, and you can switch that hint off in the options once you can see it in your head.
Why do bubbles fall without being popped?＋
Because nothing is holding them up any more. Once a group is removed, anything hanging below it that has no path back to the ceiling drops - and each one is worth double.
Can I make it easier for a young child?＋
Yes. Set it to three colours and choose "never" for the new row, which turns it into free play with no time pressure at all.
Is my best score saved?＋
