Both players tap Tap when ready in their own half. Lie a tablet flat between you for face to face, or sit side by side. Full screen makes it much bigger. Most games also work on one keyboard: Blue uses W A S D and Space, Red uses the arrow keys and Enter.

About Sort It

Play Sort It free: a two-player sorting race on one tablet. Drag the coloured shapes into the matching bins faster than your opponent. Wrong bins freeze you.

Sorting by colour is one of the first organising skills a small child learns, and it is a natural dragging game on a touch screen - which is why this one works for a three-year-old against an older sibling. The shapes vary but only the colour matters, which quietly teaches ignoring the irrelevant detail. Hard adds a fourth colour and more pieces.

Frequently asked questions

Does the shape matter?๏ผ‹

No - only the colour. The shapes are there to make it look busy.

Can two fingers drag at once?๏ผ‹

Each player drags one piece at a time, which keeps it about care rather than scrambling.

How do we hold the tablet?๏ผ‹

Lie it flat between you for face to face - the top half turns round to face the other player. Or sit side by side with it upright in front of you. It picks one from the shape of the screen, and the button in the middle switches it.

Is it good for toddlers?๏ผ‹

Yes, on Easy: three colours, eight pieces and nothing to read.
