Every game on this page runs entirely on the device in front of the child. There is no messaging, no join code, no lobby and no way for anyone else to reach them. Scores are kept in the browser. Nothing is asked of your child and nothing about them is sent anywhere.
Some of these - noughts and crosses, Connect Four, dots and boxes - can be played with a friend over the internet elsewhere on the site. Opened from this page they run in a safe mode where no room is created at all, so there is no code in existence for anybody to join. The rest have no such feature to begin with.
The learning games have no timer and no way to lose. A wrong answer fades the button and invites another go, which is the right shape for a child who is still working it out. Questions are read aloud, so a child who cannot read yet can play without help.
The rest of the site has games built around join codes and quick chat - the live quiz, the buzzer games, the party games. None of those appear here in any form.
