Free online Memory (Pairs) with six picture sets, four board sizes and a computer opponent whose memory you can set, for one to four players on one screen.
Memory, or Pairs, or Concentration - everybody grew up calling it something different, and it has been played with an ordinary pack of cards for as long as there have been packs of cards. It survives because it is the rare game a five-year-old regularly wins: young children have not yet learned to think about anything except the cards, which turns out to be exactly the right strategy, while adults are busy planning. There is no bluffing, no reading, no arithmetic - only whether you were paying attention when somebody else turned that card over. Six picture sets here, four board sizes from a gentle twelve cards to a properly hard thirty-six, and a computer player you can dial from forgetful to photographic.

How many can play?＋
One to four on the same screen, taking turns. On your own it becomes a puzzle: clear the board in as few turns as possible.
Can I play against the computer?＋
Yes, as the second player, and you choose how good its memory is - forgetful, decent, or never forgets. The last one is genuinely hard to beat.
What ages is it good for?＋
About three upwards. Start on the 12-card board with the animals or food pictures, and move up as it gets easy.
Is it the same as Concentration or Pelmanism?＋
Yes - Memory, Pairs, Concentration and Pelmanism are all the same game under different names.
Can I make it harder?＋
Go up to the 36-card board and switch the picture set to shapes and colours, which are much harder to hold in your head than animals.
Does it work on a phone?＋
Yes. The board scales to the screen, so the big board is best on a tablet and the small one is comfortable on any phone.
