Drag back from the ball and let go - the further you pull, the harder it goes. Pink bumpers give you speed, sand takes it away, and water costs a shot.
About Mini Golf
Nine holes of free online crazy golf with bumpers, bunkers and water, a full scorecard, and one to four players taking turns on one screen.
Crazy golf came out of the same Victorian enthusiasm for miniature everything that gave us model villages, and it settled into its modern form in the 1920s in North Carolina, where a course built on a rooftop needed obstacles because it had no room for distance. That constraint is what made the game: with no space to hit far, the interest has to come from what is in the way. These nine holes work the same way - a dogleg you cannot see round, a pillar to putt past, a water carry, a funnel of sand, and a pinball hole where the bumpers do most of the work if you aim right. Par for the round is thirty-one, and hitting it is harder than it sounds.
Frequently asked questions
How do I hit the ball?+
Touch anywhere and drag away from the ball, then let go. It works like pulling back a catapult: the direction is opposite your drag and the power is how far you pulled.
Why did the ball not go in?+
It was going too fast. Like real golf, the ball has to be moving slowly enough to drop rather than skid across the cup.
What happens if I hit the water?+
One shot penalty, and the ball goes back to where it last came to rest - not back to the tee.
Can we play together?+
Yes, one to four people on the same screen. Everybody plays each hole in turn before the group moves on, and there is a scorecard at the end.
What is par for the course?+
Thirty-one across the nine holes. The scorecard tells you how far under or over you finished.
What if I get stuck on a hole?+
You can set it to pick up after six or eight shots so nobody is stranded, or turn that off and finish every hole properly.
