About Farkle
Free online Farkle dice game for 2 to 6 players. Roll six dice, keep the scoring ones, and decide whether to bank your points or risk it all on another roll.
Farkle is a beloved push-your-luck dice game, sometimes called 10,000, Zonk, or Greed. The whole game lives in one decision: bank what you have, or risk it for more. Each roll of the remaining dice is a fresh gamble, and rolling zero scoring dice - a Farkle - wipes out everything you built that turn. Pass one device around the table for 2-6 players - or run it over a video call with the screen shared, each far-away player calling 'roll again' or 'bank' on their turn.
Frequently asked questions
What is a Farkle?๏ผ
A Farkle is when a roll produces no scoring dice at all. You immediately lose all the points you accumulated that turn and play passes to the next player.
What are 'hot dice'?๏ผ
If all six of your dice end up set aside as scorers in a single turn, you earn hot dice: you may pick up all six and roll again to keep adding to your turn score.
How is scoring worked out?๏ผ
Single 1s are 100, single 5s are 50, three of a kind is the face value times 100 (three 1s are worth 1,000), a 1-to-6 straight and three pairs are each 1,500, and four, five, or six of a kind are 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000.
How do you win Farkle?๏ผ
Be the first player to reach 4,000 total banked points. Only banked points count toward winning - unbanked turn points are always at risk.
Can we play with players who aren't in the room?๏ผ
Yes - share this screen in a video call and operate the dice for whoever's turn it is while they call keep, roll, or bank. Farkle's decisions are all spoken, so remote turns feel natural.
